Job title: Support Manager
Pay: £12 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week (FTE: £23,400 per annum)
The Wolfpack Project is looking for a confident, experienced person to take on the role of Support Manager. The ideal candidate should have experience with peer support and mental health first aid. A background of social care or mental health support would be preferable. Experience of event management would also be advantageous, but not essential.
This is an exciting time to join a rapidly growing Nottingham youth charity. We are Nottingham’s only youth organisation dedicated to reducing loneliness and promoting positive mental health among people aged 16-35. Through a combination of one-to-one support, social groups, events, and more, we create support networks and build communities between isolated young people.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
- To manage and run social support groups for young people in Nottingham city at a variety of venues.
- To arrange and lead one-to-one peer support sessions with service users (office based).
- Build and maintain relationships with charitable bodies, mental health teams, and the NHS, to ensure referrals to our service for young people in need.
- Ensure the responsibilities of the post are carried out in a way that reflects the standards, vision, and values of The Wolfpack Project.
- To proactively promote Safeguarding practice and Code of Conduct to service users.
- To complete and remain up to date with relevant training in the fields of mental health and social care.
- Working with Project Coordinator/CEO to ensure all The Wolfpack Project safeguarding policies and support protocols are up to industry standard.
Specific duties and responsibilities:
- To arrange payment to venues and organisations in partnership with The Wolfpack Project where social groups are hosted.
- To manage volunteers at support groups and liaise with the team to manage their workload.
- To provide support in the monitoring and development of service users during their time accessing our service.
- To assist in managing and maintaining service user records and data in Salesforce, making sure all information is up to date.
- To ensure our safeguarding, equality and diversity, and GDPR policies are upheld in all service user contact scenarios.
- To undertake courtesy call checks with service users to confirm one-to-one appointments
- To provide peer support with service users over the phone and via email when needed
- Create monthly progress reports and provide accurate data regarding service user engagement to send to CEO and Trustees.
- Work with partner organisations to delivery partner programmes, events, and campaigns
- To represent The Wolfpack Project at events when needed (partner events, job fairs, school/university/college events, mental health and wellness events etc)
- Attend all meetings that have a direct impact on your role.
- To be responsible for your own continuous professional development ensuring that your skills, knowledge, and practice are current.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibility of the job.
